RICHMOND, BC – Flight Sergeant Jason Lui of 692 BCIT Aerospace Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron (RCACS) giving a briefing to his staff during a squadron fitness night at Apex Adventure Plex in Richmond, BC on January 18, 2018.
As a cadet in his sixth year, Flight Sergeant (FSgt) Jason Lui has achieved many accomplishment. From Top Level One to Top Instructor, he has dedicated his time and effort to get the most out of the program. Although at first he was reluctant to join, his older sister convinced him to try it out and he never regretted that decision. He believes that the cadet program is an excellent opportunity to learn about leadership, build his confidence as well as connect with younger cadets. Most importantly, he values the life-long friends that he made over the years. Currently a Level Two Director, FSgt Lui works hard to make every training night as fun as possible, as he enjoys seeing the smiles of cadets when they are having a great time.
“Don’t be afraid to try new things, and speak up to what you think is right.”
In the future, FSgt Lui hopes to finish the program and help other cadets finish their goals. He plans to do this by passing on his experiences and creating an environment that allows them to explore their passion.
